Wisdom for practice

Wisdom is for practice, not for continuous speaking. If we keep on speaking about the Masters, the Rays, and the Hierarchies, we are only missing our duties for the present.

Wisdom is applied knowledge

Knowledge, when applied becomes wisdom. We gain a lot of knowledge, but it has to be applied in daily life, then it transforms itself into wisdom. Through wisdom we will experience the existence.

Wisdom spreads itself

We need not be anxious to spread the wisdom without working it with ourselves. It is a wrong understanding if one thinks that he can spread wisdom. Wisdom knows how to spread itself. It only needs channels.

Neptune, the Power of Merging

Deep Experience

Neptune - Wikipedia The astrology of the wisdom teachings says that there are 72 planets in our solar system, most of which, however, are not in the realm of visibility. The Vedic scriptures contain mantrams for 33 planets of our solar system. Eastern wisdom knows the three planets discovered by science in modern times, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, for a long time under another name. These planets are not only part of our solar system, but also of other systems. They bring additional energy from these systems for the fulfilment of our solar system. They are planets which mainly work through groups and have only little effects on the physical body.

Basically there are the 7 planetary principles which are in contact with us. The remaining planets are working through these planets. Thus Neptune is acting primarily via Moon and Venus. Esoterically speaking Neptune does not belong to the planets. He forms the centre of a hierarchy instructing five solar systems through group contact to which our solar system also belongs. It is like a five-pointed star through which our system is guided via Neptune. Just like Venus represents the soul for the earth Neptune is the soul of our sun. Its higher correspondence is Vena, the Gandharva, the cosmic soul of our universe.

The rays of Neptune are received by the beings of the earth mainly through our satellite Moon. This is the reason why H.P. Blavatsky said that the Moon works as a blind to the uninitiated man. In Vedic terminology the satellite Moon is called Chandra and the higher Moon Neptune or Soma. Chandra presides over the individual mind with its ups and downs of moods, like the waxing and waning phases of the Moon. Soma or Neptune presides over the cosmic mind which is in us the plane of cosmic consciousness or pure experience. Through the practice of yoga it unfolds in us as the experience of bliss. Neptune gives a magical effect and joy. It is a magnetic-mystical energy giving us such a deep experience that we are absorbed in it totally. We forget ourselves and the surrounding totally for a while, where only the I AM exists. This absorption which we also experience through love or through good music is called divine blessing, and even the wise ones crave for such an experience.

Neptunian Music

Neptune can attract, unite and lift up the body, mind, senses and the soul to higher planes, all together and at once, even without us being conscious of it. Neptune is the lord of the music of the spheres and he belongs to the musical hierarchy which deals with sound waves and their arrangement on the supra-cosmic plane.

The magnetic lines of force of the earth are caused by the musical vibrations of Neptune and transmitted to us via the Moon. This is the deeper meaning of the full moon meditations where we can become conscious of the magnetic-musical lines of force receiving their vibration from Neptune. Life as music and divine dance is the highest state, and the divine musician and artist among the yogis is Krishna. He was the first manifestation of Neptunian energies on earth. His flute music is the transmission of the musical world of Neptune. When Krishna played music birds, animals and humans were absorbed into the one existence and got into such a state of bliss that they forgot place and time. Neptunian music immediately takes us beyond the mental and buddhic planes to the plane of the soul. The harp music of Apollo also stands for such Neptunian music.

Impression and Merging

Through a good aspect between Moon and Neptune in the horoscope the senses can be easily subdued, the mind be absorbed and the light of the soul be made brilliant by a proper guru. The soul vision is better and clearer, the hidden side of things is revealed without the play of our understanding. The art of impression is Neptunian. Spiritual training through sleep and receiving education through impression become easy. Through the influence of Neptune invisible planes become visible and we can easily feel the presence of beings of the subtler world or develop inspirational writing. But yet, we cannot develop anything without purity the aid of stronger souls.

Neptune leads man on the path of devotion or Bhakti Yoga to higher initiations. It is not the path of knowledge but of merging. Through the music of sound and the musical sense of the mind a teacher can break off the barriers in the disciple, so that he can realise the cosmic planes of consciousness.

But without a proper link to an able teacher this is a very dangerous path. It may lead the disciple into subconscious levels where the mind is lost, mediumship is roused and the associations of his past karma lead him to indulgence. Music can not only lift up to sublime levels but also stimulate sexual desire or lower thoughts or even cause destructive effects. An afflicted Neptune in the horoscope shows the karmic consequences of wrong deeds which may express in the form of spirit mediumship, psychic abnormalities, magic of the left hand path, indulgence in narcotics or alcohol as well as sexual abnormalities.

In order to enable Neptune to give his blissful experiences with ease, the training of Uranus helps to clear the debris and to prepare the way to the Neptunian experience. Whereas Neptune is related to arts such as music, dance, painting, poetry and drama, Uranus is the scientist who removes unclear mysticism and replaces belief by knowledge also in spirituality. Science will finally result in art and the related joy.

Indra, the King Celestial

In the east Neptune in one aspect is called Indra, the King Celestial and the protector of creation. The abode of Indra in us is located around the Ajna centre, between the pineal gland and the pituitary body. Between the two glands Neptune and Uranus together create the light of the higher mind. It shines like a luminous tissue which is also called the higher bridge or the light of the Gods. This finds its completion in the blossoming of a lotus near the Ajna centre.

The function of Indra is to expand our soul consciousness so that the lower consciousness of the personality merges in the higher consciousness and the souls find their way into group awareness through the musical vibrations of Neptune. There are certain initiates who have achieved grand states of consciousness through music and when they sing they give expression to the soul and lift others up to soul awareness.

Maitreya

The head of the musical hierarchy on our planet is Lord Maitreya, just like he is also the World Teacher. On the planetary plane he represents the energy of Indra or Neptune which is called Mitra on the supra-cosmic plane and on the following plane Vasishta. When Krishna left the planet, he initiated Maitreya into the secret of the Neptunian music. Neptune is the main principle with which Maitreya works and he cannot function in man unless there is the grace of Maitreya. This grace can be bestowed when the birth Moon or the ascendant makes a harmonious aspect with the transit Neptune, especially a sextile aspect. This stimulates the musical awareness in us and the ability for deep meditative receptivity. The mantram for Neptune is Aim Drim; its colour is aquamarine, the colour of the deep, silent ocean.

On the path of ascent we first have to work with Venus before we can approach Neptune. When Venus and Neptune make good aspects, we can experience pure love in cosmic dimension which such high souls like Lord Maitreya hold. Aligning to Maitreya helps us in this.
