Wisdom for practice

Wisdom is for practice, not for continuous speaking. If we keep on speaking about the Masters, the Rays, and the Hierarchies, we are only missing our duties for the present.

Wisdom is applied knowledge

Knowledge, when applied becomes wisdom. We gain a lot of knowledge, but it has to be applied in daily life, then it transforms itself into wisdom. Through wisdom we will experience the existence.

Wisdom spreads itself

We need not be anxious to spread the wisdom without working it with ourselves. It is a wrong understanding if one thinks that he can spread wisdom. Wisdom knows how to spread itself. It only needs channels.

The Father

The Father Principle

Wikipedia, Yair Haklai, Allegory of the river Nile, Metropolitan Museum of Art

Each of us has our own understanding of father and mother. The concepts of society and family exist in our minds; astrologically, they are caused by the cumulative actions of the planets. On this level, the Moon governs the mother and the Sun rules over the head of the family and the father-force. In the individual, the Sun represents the spirit and the Moon represents the soul of man. On a lower plane, the Sun represents our consciousness (the 'I AM') and the Moon represents its reflection which is our thought.

Within the solar system, the Sun is the Father of all living beings. At the cosmic level, the system of the Great Bear takes the role of the Father, and one of the stars of the Great Bear called as Vasishta in the East is particularly connected with the role of the Father. The Pleiades play the role of the Mother for our system and the Sirius system plays the role of the Teacher or the Master. Among the zodiacal signs, Aries has the role of the Father and Cancer the role of the Mother. Leo, the fifth sign, stands for the relationship between father and son. This relationship arises through the consciousness of the soul and culminates in the spiritual knowledge of the Father in the Son. The fifth house represents the children, and the father’s love, by which he brings them up, educates them, protects them, and leads them to independence.

The biological act, in which the father fertilizes the egg in the body of the mother, works through the reproductive instinct that exists both in humans and in animals. It is not a big thing in itself. But motherhood and fatherhood can also be understood as souls' training and initiation process for the human being. The Mother Principle and the Father Principle embody truths which are reflected in all creation and which are at the basis of the relationship of physical bodies, of souls, and of the processes of self-knowledge.

The sperm of the father has a time to establish in the egg of the mother. The space and the time of this occurrence present the globe of space which stimulates the child in its mother's womb to inaugurate its own existence. We cannot perceive the space and think that there is nothing between two objects. But this space is electrical and it is called “electric fire” in the books dictated by Master Djwhal Khul. This is also referred as the “Father in Heaven” in the scriptures.

The Father means the Creator and also the Father from whom the Creator comes. This is the Lord as the background, Narayana. From him, the Creator Brahma descends. In fact, the supreme principle is neither Mother nor Father but self-existent, beyond all understanding. Nevertheless, it is called the Father who issues the Mother Principle that was dormant in him until then. She comes down and then conceives the Father in her womb as her child. So the Lord comes down as the first manifestation of the Lord. It is said that he is the Father and his Father, and therefore he is the Eternal Grandfather of everything.

In some archaic verses this fatherhood of God is described as follows: Just as we have our father, and our father has his father, our system has its father in the sun god. The sun gods have their father in the cosmic father who, in turn, has his father in the Supreme God who is beyond our understanding. And as a bird gives birth to an egg, and the egg again produces the chick, the Supreme God gives birth to an egg of the cosmos. He gives birth to every egg of the cosmos in the form of millions of lights. And every living creature is an expression to find the universal presence of God in itself.

Circle and Centre

Like the Creator, we are also a projection that emerges from the undefinable background. The symbol of the soul, the localized consciousness, is a circle with the centre. The circle is the Father; the centre is an “I”, the creature which is also called the Son. The relationship between the centre and the circumference of the circle can be called 'THAT I AM'. THAT is the Father, I AM is the Son of God.

When we wake up in the morning, we should establish a strong relationship to the origin of awakening at the centre of our forehead and meditate on ourselves as the central point and the circle around us as the consciousness of the Father. When we are connected to the Father, everything we create is harmonious. Without the connection, we lose our roots and cannot play well in the world. If we make ourselves the centre and consider everything in relation to ourselves, we become egocentric. Working for the surroundings is called working for the Father. So we offer our energies and dissolve our bonds. As far as we work only for ourselves, we are increasingly creating bonds.

If we know ourselves, then we also know the Father. If we do not know ourselves, then we also do not know the Father. When Hercules was asked by his teacher who his father was, he said, “I know my mother, I do not know my father.” This applies to anyone who makes the first steps on the path of self-realisation. Since we do not know much about God, from a spiritual point of view every human being is the 'son of a widow' until he finds the Father.

The Lost Son

The lower mind, which remains in seclusion, is called the lost son who does not listen to his father. Here, the father is the soul; the son is the personality which is not yet ready to receive higher inspiration. The mind of the soul leaves no impression in the brain of the personality. Some people have a resistance against every advice since they are not yet ready to take advice. A lost son has left father's house and the orientation towards the background is interrupted. This is how he sheers off from the Plan and sets up many obstacles.

God, the Father, wanted his children to use the senses and experience objectivity. The children, however, ran out and got stuck in the game; they do not want to get out. Often the child falls asleep and still has the ball in the hand. The children must be taught to let go. And so the Father teaches some to become teachers. He sends them out into the creation to inform about the know-how of creation. The work of the teachers of the Hierarchy is a work of love and compassion. But once the Hierarchy is at a loss, they connect with the Father and say, “Father, look at the situation. The children quarrel and it is not possible to deal with them. We give up. It is up to you to continue.” This is how the avatars come. It is then their work that the aggressive ones are set to order. The Father does not annihilate them. The soft ones as well as the aggressive ones are his children with different tasks.

Fear of the Father is not a basis for a relationship with him. If the child is afraid of the Father, there can be no communication with him. Love and understanding form the basis for experiencing His presence and guidance. Like in a family, the older brothers of humanity can give the right inspiration, so that the younger brothers can orient themselves towards the Father. As soon as the younger brother has found the Father, the older brother's role ceases for him.

The child cannot find the father as easily as the father can find the child. Master CVV says, “If a child is lost in a big city, it is easy for the father to find the child again. The child, however, finds it very difficult to rediscover the father.” The father knows the whole system; he can alert the police and get in contact with radio and television. Thus, the cosmic mind drives the solar mind to connect with the planetary mind. In this way, the divinity helps humanity from time to time to free itself.

Gratitude

Through every father the Father of the World comes to us and through every mother comes the World Mother. The World Teacher comes to each student in the form of his teacher. These are all veils behind which the great truths are concealed. We receive our body from the mother, so we have to repay our debt to her with our gratitude. Our mere existence is due to our father; we must also be grateful to him. And our second, spiritual birth comes through the teacher through whom we have gained knowledge. The Upanishads speak of seeing the mother, the father, and the teacher as God, offering salutations to them, and thus receiving their blessings. The fourth form of God is the guest who visits us unannounced.

The Chain of Souls

The scriptures also explain that we are not isolated individuals but are in a chain with our predecessors and successors. The field of activity relating to each soul is the three preceding souls and the three succeeding souls. Along with ourselves there are seven, like seven strings of an instrument. We are the fourth string, the middle one, which is particularly important. Our good deeds can not only lift us up, but also our father, our grandfather and our great grandfather, and they also impact the three succeeding generations. Likewise, bad deeds also can pull down the whole chain. This is true with the chain of the family and the chain of teachers. Teachers therefore do not easily select their disciples because they continue to be exposed to their disciples’ vibrations. We do not go beyond the three levels. Occultly it is said that if we have a great-grandchild, we are already in the Absolute. Symbolically it means that he who sees his great-grandchild is fulfilled.
